I just yesterday took the drivers side apart and cut my Moog 5660s 1/2 a coil. As I understand what I’m reading here, I should now buy a shorter shock??? In the rear the 5613s lowered the Elco to where my 245/45X17s fit the wheel house real nice. Should I also change those shocks? I have KYB gas at all 4 corners, stock length.

Go get a mount to mount measurement sitting idle

Dont need it

you could use a shorter one in the rear but it is not necessary

Wrong spring
This is the spring that Detroit Speed lists on their web site for a 2" G-body drop. Which spring is correct?
Also, what about dropped spindles? Will this solve the situation (keeping the Detroit springs)?

Thanx Turna. Doing the same job twice is bad enogh, but buy the same type part twice is insane. And I’m only a little bit CRAZY. Got 2 EXs and a current to vouch to that !

I had to use the short bilsteins for the rear so the springs would not fall out if I had to jack up one rear corner of the car or if I got air when the bridge was out and I was getting chased by Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane .....

I just checked my invoice. The Detroit Spring I received is the one you recommend, # 031132P. My initial response earlier was from looking at their web site for the part number.

I used 2" drop spindles with my QA1 coilovers to keep stock-ish travel in both directions with the stance I wanted. Drop spindles would solve your problem at this point..………………..if you actually need 2 more inches of drop.
