Small block chevy intake problems

x2 ..I have vortec heads and the bolts are straight up. You can also tell the vortec head from the design on the end of the head.
 
Vortecs would look like this on the front also. Note the intake bolts angle, I redrilled these heads to fit the old style intake for better sealing. Just as DRIVEN and jrm81bu have stated you don't have vortecs, those look like the swirl port TBI heads that come on trucks and other vehicles.

I was curious and looked up Vortec heads in my system, I can get complete remanfactured Vortec cylinder heads from Moore's Cylinder Heads for less than $300 each 8)

There about $400 each on Summit assembled and these are new not remans so $300 for remans sounds right when you compare them. I still wouldnt buy remans though :wink:
 
Easy fix dude, just drill the center holes to adapt to those heads. Done lots of em this way.
 
I read in Hotrod or Carcraft that the Vortec heads flow better than the best Fuelie heads (2.02 intake valve size)
