Longroof,
I went to a junk yard and got mine. There was an abundance of them there
Thank you, Greg.
I'm going to give that a shot. Hopefully, I'll come out of there with something.

The T155/90D16 are 27 inches tall they came in Jeeps I believe they have the 10 hole bolt pattern

The T145/80D16 are 25.1 inches tall and came in 1986-1996 RWD Cadys, Olds, Buicks and Chevys They have the 4.75 pattern

I'd swear I read on here last week that a donut from a FWD Chevy Equinox fits and clears big brakes.

6 lug rim

edit..... looks like they also have a 5 lug version???

The 5 lug pattern comes in 5x115 and 5x120 depending on year

5x4.75 is 5x120.65mm

Do you have a posi or are you planning on putting one in? If so, the most important thing is to try and find a spare with a diameter that is close to the tires you are running on the rear of the car.
Roger,
I do have a posi, that's one of my concerns about using a donut spare...and also to be able to fit the tire well, which might be a problem. Time to take a measurement.

I may have to look towards using the T145/80D16. Now wouldn't that size be closer to the stock 14" tire diameter rather than the 205/65 or 235/60 x 15?

That was my thread from last week where that was read and yes, the Equinox 2010 to 2017 vintage is a 5X120 17"X6" wheel with a donut T145/70R-17 25" diameter tire.
However the offset of +40mm on that wheel equates to a 5.07" BS. That means a spacer would be needed to fit a G-body car. Not that I'm against spacers but it was the fact that the thickness of the spacer needed would require longer studs. Can't do that for a spare only. I guess a 1" spacer would work though since that would be the type that has it's own set of studs on it.

I ended up buying a new 16"X7" zero offset wheel and a new full-sized 215/60R-16 tire to use as a spare for mine. Diameter matches my 255/50R-16 rear tires exactly.
All new too. That's one problem with buying a spare tire at a wrecking yard. One that fits is going to be darned old. Replacement donut tires can get expensive too.
I was reluctant to use an old donut type spare even if it had never been run before. Due to the age of the rubber, it might not last long enough to even get to a tire shop.
