The W/Z manifolds will not fit a SBO without a remote oil filter adapter and the driver's side points at the frame on a G body. You should be close to 9 to 1 with the #2 heads. Assuming they CC at 64cc or less, have heard conflicting info on that. Stock 14cc pistons are also assumed. Do it!

Travatos book says 350 pistons are 23.6cc dish, so I'll use that as a worst case scenario.
Didn't know about the exhaust manifold issue. I bet they fit flipped over with v-bands on the ends!

Well, it fired up, backfired, and the starter quit. 🤬. Tried using the trailer as ramps, but couldn't move the ramp on the trailer to get clearance. Up it goes!

Gonna jack it up on the trailer to see if I can get it out. These might help

Those are the cast cheap replacement piston spec and 71-72 350 piston. The 14cc was the 68 to 70 2bbl low compression piston and all 73 to 80 350's factory pistons.

Winner winner, chicken dinner buddy!

Glad to hear HooptieWagon is gonna save that 88, it’s too cool to send to the crusher.
And welcome to the Coupe Club, you’re not gonna know what to do without 2 extra doors!
🤣
What are the plans for motor-vation??

I'm gonna throw my SBO stash at it- turbo, blow through EFI is top of the Want List, but then there's reality. The whole reason I was holding on to the 88 was for a gasser, however that requires a 51-54 body and making a chassis. I've come to realize that I have too many pipe dreams. It's bad enough that there's still the 66 F85 racecar in the background, AND I'll still have a 350 block, TH400, and 330 crank for the 380 stroker for it as a retirement project. I'm just going to get this together over the next few years to replace the Bonneville with what I really wanted from square one. Reality sucks!
