the other aspect of buying parts made in the US is it keeps them in business and the money in their empoyees pockets trickles down though neighborhoods like yours

Apparently the Delco replacement wires are a tad longer than stock ones. Can't see the TRs being much different than carb V6, but what do I know. Here's a chart with the original length wire for each cylinder and measurements of replacement wire kits. Talyors and MSD's are a tad larger, I THINK. I do not know for sure, but 8.5 mm sticks in my head. Obviously the Delcos would work, but you may need to tuck a wire here and there and not allow them to hang on the exhaust manifolds.

my mechanic will do the tucking and then I will double check. A little longer is a good thing, better than too short. I don't plan on changing the plugs or wires again. I'll probably have another car. Or I will let them go for at least 5 years minimum. I don't worry about plugs and wires until a problem arises and then I change them. This is not a pre- '71 car that I can work on myself. Too many gadgets pipes hoses belts switches tubes wires and junk to bother with anything... I prefer a car with mechanical windows, seats and door locks, and 1 fan belt with just an engine under the hood and nothing else. I don't live in my car.

these cars are not complicated once you get your hands dirty and the electrical system for power accessories are basic.
This is how I like my cars when I open the hood, bare *ss bones. Such a pleasure and enjoyment to work on..

Under my hood will look close to that. Only extra clutter will be A/C parts depending if I opt to use the A/C module instead of the heater module.

Nice ! I like that word "clutter", because that is exactly what all the extra junk is. And today's cars are complete nightmares of evil.
