Yep NON TURBO. I have the regular 2 bbl. carb. should be VIN A......

and is Gap .045 or .060?
TS is .045
TSX is .060.
My 350 Buick called for .060 with hei like the v6. It ran better with .045.

The .060 gap was an emissions nonsense gimmick.

Supposedly making the spark larger for a more complete/efficient burn of all the cylinder gases.

Unfortunately HEI's werent powerful enough for it so the gain wasnt that effective.

I would add, although some don't believe it, the stock HEI setup with the .030-.045 gap settings is an EXCELLENT street setup that is super-reliable and will fire nearly any plug you put in your engine and lets you worry about other parts of the car.

Works just fine. We had a DUI Hei distributor in my friends mid 11 second camaro. No extra parts and no issues. Wide plug gaps do nothing for ignition. If the car is not popping, the ignition is working 100%.

A friend of mine drove a Nascar Truck for about 1/2 dozen races and he talked to me about a spark plug test they did with the truck on a dyno to see what plug gave them the highest hp. They started out with the plugs gapped at 20 and worked their way up and in the end the Champion gapped at 43 won the battle. On all of our GM crate race engines, whether we ran an MSD box or not we gapped the NGK plugs at 45, we didn't have the budget to spend a day on the dyno testing plugs...

He already bought the ACDelco old school green stripes. Don't need anything else for a stock ignition system. And you KNOW it's right for your car.
They should arrive today. I will have them installed Wednesday. So far though the Regal runs fine. Maybe the SeaFoam had to be worked out of the gas. But new plugs will not hurt. And a new gas filter just in case.
