SPARK PLUGS - What brand and type?

NGK UR45 and I would gap them at .045, not .060. I run NGKs and all my buddies URs. This is from totally stock to 9.00 cars 3.8 cars. Don't run copper or iridium. Not good for the 3.8. Forget gas additives. Change the gas filter and sparkplugs, wires and distributor cap/rotor, and hei coil. Start fresh...

AC Delco. Genuine GM is all i will ever use
Green stripe ACDelco is what you should try to find. Not that offshore junk. If it's made in USA, it'll be fine. Again, likely to never drive it to necessitate another plug change in its entire life

Examples (I believe the R43TS is what 86 Monte SS uses and 84/85, 87/88 uses R45TS-WTF?):

Hi, I am back everyone. Hope all is well. I am getting stumbling under load, misfiring around 35-45 mph. I have Bosch Platinum plugs in the '84 Regal with a 3.8L V6 now and they have been there many years. I think they are breaking down. What brand and what type of spark plugs do any of you recommend for a stock engine with original miles?
Delco R45TS stock plug

Well my mechanic will do the work for me. Because I don't think I could easily replace #6 plug, the one under the A/C by fire wall. I just need to know which plug to buy... The Conventional or Rapid Fire. I assume Conventional. Last time I replaced these plugs was around 8+ years ago...
Stick with conventional delco plugs. Im not a fan of the rapid fire plugs

That is what I was always told. I only went with the Platinum because I heard they last longer. Now I just have to find out the part number for the AC DELCO plugs I need. Thanks !

With HEI find the right plug and gap at .045. AC Delco
