So I calmed myself down and immediately fell asleep in my chair lol after my little power nap I decided to check my recently repaired amphenol cable and found my problem Atlas wired it wrong! I told you guys wiring is my nemesis. What a waste of $80 I'm not even bringing it back to them I'm just going to finde another one like I originally wanted to. I found a 50ft one in Texas on eBay but it said local pickup. I sent him a message to ask about shipping hopefully he gets back to me and it's adorable. That's it until tomorrow

If it is anywhere remotely close to me, I'll be happy to help. I also have buddies from work in Dallas, San Antonio, College Station and Silsbee. Let me know.

It's in Kilgore tx but he just got back to me and said he'd ship it free for the buy it now price of $100 SOLD! Those things are almost $500 for 50ft at a welding supply. I'm getting my drive back now! Hopefully I'll be running the feeder by next weekend

Keep chipping away at it. Pick a small project and stay with it until it is done.

My dad did a home rebuild on a 366 (tall deck BBC medium duty truck engine) in the late 80's. It was out of a 77 C65, one of his milk trucks. It bent a few pushrods for some unknown reason, which led to the overhaul. It was strictly a ring and bearing job (plus timing chain and oil pump). We started it on the garage floor running out of the manifolds. We pulled a lot of milk with that motor. Good memories.

She's a V6 now! Eric and his buddy Jack were doing my bottom end assembly today and I'm glad I was just a helper. They found several things wrong during the process and fixed them along the way unfortunately I ended up ordering another set of rod bearings because I missed a bad spot on#1 crank journal. So there's another $20 and that's why it's a V6 oh well I am just a bodyman not an engine builder.

The cam and timing chains are in and I loaded my heads in jacks truck to go get machined. Now I'm off to go get Lauren from band.

If all it was, was another 20 buxx you got off easy!!!!
