I am sorry to say but, the dipstick and tube look to be bent up. I think it is a sign from God that truck wants a 455 not a 454.
It would have been cheaper at this point lol but not by much so far every motor was free the heads were 250 but I traded bumpers for them I got free. If I counted my labor on the camper I should have gotten a crate engine. The cam and lifters were like $180ish and I've spent just under $300 at rockauto and eBay

Took Lauren to the Windward Beach car show tonight. My brother showed up in a car I didn't know he bought a 69 f85 57000 mile post car V8 automatic rubber mat so cool! Of course he's trying to sell it already lol his wife said he can't keep bolth W-30s that the wagon and the 70 442 lol

People's choice 2 years in a row and my daughter wasn't a judge this year lol

Clutch, you're a badass.
And the jerk we parked next to was having a fit because he didn't want us there lol I didn't say a word to him all night because .... Well because Lauren a few old friends of mine may have said something or perhaps my brother because he was quite quiet when we got back from the concession stands and wouldn't look at me anymore lol

Congrats, just the same. Imagine how much bigger the trophy will be when it's all one color.

Pleased to see the "new" hood on it. Looking forward to the BBC swap. I know it won't be cheap, but you need a 4L80E in that rig. After 2k miles, I can tell you it's the best mod I've made to my truck. That transmission is a beast.

My brother my buddy Doug I haven't seen in years Lauren and I were talking about that tonight but the general consensus was once it's all painted up it'll never win a trophy again lol Doug had his 69 Z/28 there I remember doing bodywork on that car 20 years ago when he was a machinist at jessel. Still looks dam good
