Since you're in Jersey, you have to have someone else pump in the baby seal blood and fill the Eagle feathers, correct?

Oh boy woke up to the remnants of last night's ice storm! That should make the drive interesting after I chisel off the trunk

She brought me back and forth to work all week! Only a few small hiccups tomorrow my boss offered to let me use the shop to work out some of the bugs so I'm going to attempted the axle seals and hub conversion. If I can get it done fast enough I'll bleed and ajust the rear brakes also. No matter what I'm changing those Dumbo mirrors! The duct tape is getting old fast! Oh and my new wiper arms came tonight so it's probably not going to rain anymore

I wanted to mention...it seems to be getting a little better every day before to Long I think I might trust it lol one thing tho I learned this week never to cheep out on plug wires again a little moisture and she's dropping cylinders on the way to work today. What are you guys using for wires on SBC daily drivers with headers? I need something economical for my '0' budget

I used to run Mallory (pre MSD) wires with dielectric grease on the plugs & cap towers.

I never run sbc's which I know like to burn plug wires with headers. The Summit racing,
Accel or NGK plug wires are good quality, whatever is cheapest and easiest to get. I believe they all come with dielectric grease.

Took the truck to work today thinking I would bleed the rear brakes change the mirrors and wiper arms tighten up the belts you know give it a general looking over lol yea right! I'm home trucks at work and I spent almost $300 on rear brakes and seals ECT
I started out looking for the fluid leaked in the rear system witch led me to this mess of brake fluid and gear oil IMG_20180113_113150412_HDR.jpg IMG_20180113_113144482_HDR.jpg

So I bought new shoes all new hardware a spring kit wheel seals wheel cylinders 1 stud all new lug nuts and 2 cans of brake clean. I wanted to cut the drums but the place that does it locally doesn't have a lathe big enough for a 13x3 1/2 drum so I ground off the lip and used my 6" da with 80 cleaning up all the stinky soup took way to long so I only got the right rear back together IMG_20180113_154811625.jpg So until tomorrow that's it it's sleeping indoors tonight IMG_20180113_154815837_HDR.jpg
And here's a picture of 1 of the drums IMG_20180113_154830991_TOP.jpg Tonight my homework is building the new wipers 15158804456631376520996.jpg
