Well optioned car with a black interior. That's nice. Not the best interior color for the green but still a nice car.

It's got all the options, even a remote right hand Sports mirror. I have never seen a green 79. I checked the paint codes for 79 and that combo was available. It will be interesting to see what he gets for it. According to Haggerty 5th gen El Caminos have taken a big jump in value.

Had this one as a parts car some years back....it had a green cloth interior.....barf

If you take a close look at the pictures I'll be betting on buyers remorse.

Paint inside the bed looks to be rattle canned or something. The tailgate open pics show its a shade of green no appearing anywhere else.

You look at the paint under the rear window by the glass trim and it's discolored/dirty - so option a is everything wasn't broken down resprayed, or option b it has been sitting a while and they mightve even done the old wd40 trick to make older paint shine. Whoever did do the paint was lazy, overspray on the frame below the rockers, various other spots.

Then the comment that you need to go through mechanical before driving... well, there's far FAR better cars out there for WAY less money.

Having wasted my time watching the show, Rawlings has a thing for green cars. Somebody will buy it, and drive the price of parts cars through the roof.
