Did you buy your motor mounts yet? I went with dirty dingoes and I like them. I'm in the process if plopping the motor in and the slider mounts make this process SO much easier.

edit - I also got mine used from LS1tech. I didn't buy mine new but it is like new
How can you like the motor mounts when it isn't even in yet?? That's where the problems start, from what I've seen.

A tip i had to learn the hard way. I had a 4 point chain with connections at front and back of cylinder heads. When I got the engine and trans back in with body on the frame the rear bolts were too long to remove. Had to use a cut off disc
Don't go longer than an inch maybe 3/4 would be better. Or use the side of the block.

I used front of head and a valley cover bolt with a tilting hoist thingy.

Soooo, my approach is a little different than most. I’m going for more of an “extreme cheapskates” type build, with everything either bought cheap and on sale, 2nd hand and from the junkyard. Including the cost of the car, I’m around $2300 or so.

ICT billet mount plates ($30 or so), the Supershops Holly copy oil pan from Amazon ($219), crossmember that might be a Gforce or a copy (about $100 or so)
