I don't know what it is called and I can't find it online to see if it's available. It's the white plastic part that has the tube that the steering wheel slides over. It aligns the wheel and is the receptacle for the horn wire lock. The tube on mine is broken and missing so I can't lock the wire assembly in place. Does anyone know what that part is called and would you know if it is available. If not I'll head to the recycling yard tomorrow.

Thanks

mines broke off too, so i had to hook my horn up to a button where the old park brake release was.

Ecklers chevelle calls it a signal cancel cam. I would try the wreckers that it where I got mine from.

thanks guys, I found it on Ebay and they called it a horn cam...illregal, your second post lead me to it, thanks

thanks alot everyone and I'll head to the wreckers tomorrow. O.D. that link helps out and that steering wheel that came from you looks great in the car....thanks again

Glad you're happy with it Steve...the one I got from you is sitting under the desk here..lol. The boy is not sure he's going to put it in the Malibu or not now.

If I were you I would buy one brand new. There only a couple bucks and one in a junkyard will be very brittle. I replaced mine with a junkyard piece and then another after that one broke. Then I bought one from Napa and havent had a problem in a year and a half. Just my $0.02.
