It's called A turn signal cancel cam ,there are two types the white one is for tilt column and the green one is for non tilt .Under $10 bucks at most auto parts stores. Look in the "HELP" Parts section. O Reilly's here in Phoenix has them for $6.00 Google search Dorman Products Turn signal cancel cam.

If I were you I would buy one brand new. There only a couple bucks and one in a junkyard will be very brittle. I replaced mine with a junkyard piece and then another after that one broke. Then I bought one from Napa and havent had a problem in a year and a half. Just my $0.02.

I noticed that today when I was installing the one I picked up at the scrapyard, I'll take yours and tc1959's suggestion and buy a new one..

mines broke off too, so i had to hook my horn up to a button where the old park brake release was.

I was thinking of just soldering a wire directly to the horn cam/clock. I think your method sound like more work that it is to replace the part..

I ordered a new one today and it's $11.20.....

He stole it from me, I'm older and he owes me big time.. 8)

got the part and it's a dorman..
