Has anyone taken the time to rebuild an 800 series box? I have seen part#1 of Hutch's video and he's very clear and precise in his instructions.
My steering box just recently developed a leak, It's either in the pitman arm shaft, or the worm gear shaft. I suppose depending on which point is leaking, it may not need to be entirely disassembled. It still works great and had been installed a little over 20 yrs ago...and it was a used Monte SS box.
I certainly would not turn it in as a core.
