I've never used it where my hands would be, I used it on my glove box door and radio surround. If you look at much of the factory stuff, it's painted to match too (ie center consoles). The stuff really seems to bond well.

Can't really see it too well, but the surround (directly above the 3 gauge pod) and bottom of the glove box door were light blue, the ashtray is the original black (locatied in the center of surround), even in good light, you can't tell.

For the Pick-A-Part guys, check the 80's Buicks for a nice, thick leather-wrapped wheel, especially Rivieras and Park Avenues. I pried the Buick emblem out of the center and fabbed a duplicate from a sheet of plastic. A paper bowtie behind the plastic made it look at home in my Camino. The color actually matches, but the camera flash makes it look lighter than the rest of the interior.

I like this one, The T-Type wheel looks good in the Chevy,

Another nice one to keep an eye out for are the sport wheels installed in the 84-85 Toronado Caliente models. They also have a rare digital dash that's hard to find. The 77-80 Delta 88 Holiday coupes had nice steering wheels too. They also had buckets, console and floor shifter that you rarely ever see.

I haven't had any issues with it so far and I used it all 90+* summer for fishing and stuff. I was going to wrap it with a sew-up cover but never did.

you got me sold....I turned down steering wheels cause I was in search of a blue one. The blue Monte SS wheel I have is kinda rare so I should be able to get my money back on that one

Here's the wheel I had that I sold a while back..regretably. Mainly because of the color.

Got the wheel and GP emblems and it worked out great. Here's the pics. I could probably refinish the wheel itself to be perfect but it doesn't look bad as is.

Emblem removed, popped out easily from the back

A little comparison. All I had to do is knock the edges off the GP emblem with a bench grinder and it fit right it.
