That wheel's going to look great. Or, you could make a bitchin' set of GP cufflinks!

Haha! They do have that regal look about them. I may have to buy some tapestries for the apartment lol!

I like that riv wheel 8) , that will look sweet! What year (about) did that come out of?

*Side note, while searching my local yard for jeep parts I came across the slotted spoke wheel I mentioned (was on a CJ7).

not bad for $11, , also has the center cap I mention where the center emblem is rubber and removable 8) .

It was an ebay wheel! The seller didn't give a specific year, just said late 70's-early 80's. I was surprised to find a GM sport wheel in black, let alone with a woodgrain button too.

I had a few of those jeep wheels in my watch list too. The one I almost bought had the solid spokes though. They closely resemble the factory Pontiac ones.

The Jeep wheel looks very much like the '70's GM sport wheel. Similar type spoke design. These fit the GM column splines?

Yes, jeep used a saginaw column very similar to that of a GM, Been meaning to try a cherokee column in my car but haven't come across the right one yet (looking for a black tilt, from an 80's version), of course I had one at one point but tossed it before I had the idea to try one out, .

*See page 2, I posted a pic of the jeep wheel on my malibu, the slotted one will replace the one in the pic....eventually

Don't pass on just because of the color. SEM can make anything look stock. My tilt column was burgundy out of a Buick Regal, now it's Regal Blue.

lol, I like the SEM interior paint it works very well, I used it on a few pieces for the Eagle. Can't tell the difference between the ones I painted vs the factory pieces they go with. Passing columns up in yards because of the wrong color is just my way of procrastinating I guess, . Now that I have a secondary plan in case the column doesn't work in the car, I may get on trying one, lol.

is the SEM not affected by hand sweat and rubbing?

That's exactly what my concern would be.
