good choice I am considering that look

I have a gray 4 spoke rope style Z28 wheel I have yet to clean up...just wanted to let you know if you decide to go this style...

When I bought my GP, the former owner had installed a green Chevrolet steering wheel. It was huge, plus it clashed with my blue interior. I came across a Fiero in a junkyard and decided its wheel would look okay in my car, so I took it home and installed it.

If you don't look too closely, the Fiero logo looks kinda like the Firebird logo. 😛 Either way, it's still Pontiac so it's all good.

This is what I'm currently using. The Monte SS/ Celebrity style wheel. Although I'd like to eventually go with the earlier 3-spoke GM sport wheel.

My project car has a red three spoke Comfort Grip Corvette/Camaro style. I really like the look and feel. They reproduce them in most colors now.

I have always ran Grant steering wheels and started off with the affordable Challenger walnut with black spokes then changed to the black vinyl version and now I have an Elite GT similar to GuysMonteSS but in black vinyl instead.
I have always liked the symmetry of the 4 spoke wheels over a 3 spoke version for some reason.

Personally, I like the Z28 wheels from 78-81. Come in colors that match the OE interiors and aren't flimsy like most aftermarket wheels.

I second these! Back in the olden days you could find a nearly identical wheel on Cavaliers all day long in the bone yards. Mine current one is off a '78 Berlinetta Camaro. Put a good wrap on wheel cover on it and it's a real comfortable wheel that still looks good...
