In this day and age, email is like cassette tapes for music, or VHS for movies..........
Really? So, you use mental telepathy, do you?
You made it sound like nobody uses email and I average getting 35-40 a day, my wife who is a doctor gets 75-100 a day, we both get more now than 5 years ago, so no we aren't all whiz kids and yes, email is still very widely accepted as a first line of communication. I didn't know that many people had to login to email every time they want to check it, 2 clicks on my iPhone, iPad ,laptop, office desktop or home desktop and there's my email. Yes I do have to login every two weeks.
This isn't about a pissing contest anyway, it's about a promise made, not kept and not communicated on, the seller was totally in the wrong on this, not the buyer and it seems way too often personal feelings and politics has people protecting the guilty and rolling the aggrieved under the bus.
Calling him a thief was jumping the gun, however that in no way shifts the blame away from the seller. Being busy is no excuse, I run a business, I'm president of a large car club that runs multiple events for charities and administrator of charitable foundation. If I promise a guy heads will be shipped tomorrow they will be short of a catastrophe, and if something absolutely prevents it, I will contact the buyer that day as soon as I know it. Don't believe it, check my seller feedback on the Pontiac forum or ebay. Hell yes, it's inconvenient sometimes and all that but slacking is way too common and becoming way too tolerated.
