Has anyone done this and do you have any tips? Im putting it in a 79 El Camino.... Thanks in advance

It's Easy. Bolts right on. My boys carburated theirs instead of going fuel injection. Get a good GM Performance Intake and Holley Carb, some Hedman Shorties and you pretty much good to go. I have 3 of my members with Vortec 5.7s. They run.

Mine is carburated too. Looking into a double pumper Holley carb and a high rise intake.
