Swapping rear differential on a 82 grand prix

Anyone ever swapped a rearend for a posi trac with disc brakes and if so, what kind of car did you get the rearend off of?

Blake I think he means the whole rear end. I don't know of any rear ends that will bolt in place even with the the arms from a place like SSM. If you can weld a 8.8" Ford can be a good choice. If you have mechanical ability, a GN/442 8.5" with a GM rear disc setup can work.

Thanks, for the help on everything. Also will the oem steering gear box on 90 model chevy camaro, firebird, etc swap with a G-body easily?
