tail lights

Initials are KB, correct? I just want to confirm my suspicions.
That is who I am thinking of, although there are a couple others in GA or that region who come across to me as similar. Another(maybe same guy?) sells parts on eBay with a GM logo in the photo’s background but can be aftermarket new or used parts, made to sound like genuine GM and/or brand new when neither case is true.

“KB” is the one with the new tail lights though. Curious to the story behind those.
Is there a reason we are not just saying his name??

If the guy is a scammer let us know.

I won't say you're wrong.

There was someone else along with the guy I saw in the yard that day whose name I recognized at the time but can't recall at the moment.

As to why I'd not full out say a name, well, it's still possible to run into a couple of what I see as these unsavory characters and ive no way to know how stable they are mentally, or if they'd connect who said what to who they saw.

But, when I DO see the persons I saw mentioned, I tend to let my personal experiences/observations be known. Can't get in legal trouble for saying things like that either.

Call it like it is or move on

Dont claim someones a bad guy with initials

Then be afraid to say his name

Because it's not been verified. Only some hunches/deductions. Don't want to tag someone with a question mark if we're not 100% sure it's "the guy".

And it's not so much scamming, but his transparency history is a bit foggy. The guy WE'RE thinking of would tell you he BELIEVES a part is new or NOS, but in reality you find out it's refurbished out of a junkyard gem at best.

The KB we're thinking of has some weird business dealings as well. He blocked me from his ebay ads several years ago because, dig this, he claimed he sold me an NOS door armrest pad for a G-body Olds (I have never bought anything from him until there was a small NOS part he had still in the wrapper I tried and failed to buy from him) and then supposedly flipped it and resold the armrest pad. WTF? Wasn't me. Even if I did, why would that be a concern for someone who sold me a part for their asking price? If I bought it and put it in the trash can, why should anyone care?

I'll PM you the guy's name that we're thinking of that you SHOULD think twice about when dealing with him. We're just not sure it's the same exact person, so you don't go flaming someone when you're not sure.

I seem to remember G body parts was re popping the rear taillights but I can't find them on the web site. These clear lenses on flea bay are intriguing. This obviously means that someone, somewhere built tooling to reproduce the lenses. It's not a cheap endeavor to build a 2 cavity lens tool. Why anyone would want clear lenses is a mystery to me but to each his own. Different doesn't do it for me.
