For what it's worth, one of the names being thrown around this thread as a source had issues back on some of the olds message boards with bad transactions.
Same guy used to mislead buyers claiming a huge junkyard with decades of cars worth of parts. Turns out, he was just buying pull-a-part parts around atlanta and got caught as lying about having that junkyard when the cars stopped stopped showing up there.
Caveat emptor.
I was in a yard on the south side a couple years back pulling a pair of corner lamps and harness.I think I know who you’re talking about and it doesn’t surprise me, others on Facebook groups like him post like they have a ton of parts or a yard to make themselves sound bigger for some reason (I doubt anyone cares either way so why lie?) but really don’t.
Initials are KB, correct? I just want to confirm my suspicions. For what it's worth, one of the names being thrown around this thread as a source had issues back on some of the olds message boards with bad transactions.

To shed light on GM parts, I have several real NOS side covers, and a scant few came in GM boxes, but most came in clear plastic bags with the part number tag stapled or a label stuck to the bag.I noticed the seat chrome thing when I was about to list a set I removed from a yard to see what they go for(not an Olds part expert), found his old listing(s) with all these “new” ones that mysteriously have no boxes. He also posts things on FB that he “finds” that seemingly have been tucked away or hidden in his stash for years. Or more likely found at a local pick n’ pull the other week. Recycles many things, including his stories. Can’t fool everyone though 😉
