If Houston gets 10" of rain there is a couple $ billion in damage. 31"? Those 32" wheels are looking pretty good about now.

seriously, I hope everyone there, or going there stays safe!

So far it's a non-event in the metro Houston area. Max forecasted winds here are 25 mph tomorrow afternoon. The threat for the Houston metro area is flooding as it is supposed to rain through Tuesday or beyond. The folks to worry about are those along the coast down near Corpus Christi.

Just saw the Weather Channel talking about the Hurricane. Cat 4 and stalling. Prayers and well wishes to anyone near it.

Had a hurricane go through CT about 30 years ago and I remember hearing some of our huge Maple Trees near my house cracking. Thought for sure one was coming down. Trees were fully bloomed with leaves, wet and heavy, and the wind was brutal even though we were inland a bit. A few sheds blew down, someones lawn furniture ended up in my front yard. The funny part, after it was over and all our neighbors and ourselves were ok, we never lost electricity, but this one huge branch was hanging funny over our tv cable wire, little bit of wind comes by, drops, wire cut in half. No tv! We didn't care. Other areas got hit harder and we were lucky more did not happen. Just hearing that wind, I forget how strong it was, scared the hell out of me. I thought our roof was a goner.

Again I hope everyone stays safe.

I just looked it up and it was Hurricane Gloria in Sept of 85. Nothing like Harvey, but it still was not a fun experience.

Too bad it's probably a 305 and the stock 7.5. Probably open with 2.41s. But, if it works it works. lol
