I recall the kick-outs (raised floor sections) started immediately after the seats.Looking at where the forward part is located on the floor it seems like it's going to be really close to the front seat. Or am I seeing things 🤔

Test run getting the tailpipe in and out is extremely tight, but it will go with a little perseverance. Contemplating denting the pipe slightly in the interference spot to make it easier to get in and out. Not ideal, but it won’t affect the performance and it’s not bad enough to justify reworking this whole piece.

Freudian slip? You CAN wait to see this car in person?
Jeez Blane, you really know how to inspire me!
😅
Well, it's not that bad, really. Consider the 4th gen F-body with the V8. The factory Y pipe running under the driver side floorboard was wide and flat for clearance purposes. And those cars weren't considered slow. That was compromise. You're getting off easy. 🙂 However, they were incredibly easy to remove/replace. I put a larger SLP aftermarket Y pipe on mine with full round pipes (as many 4th gen owners do) plus I already had the SLP Bilstein suspension system option which lowered the car a little and I still never squished it. Although I had much respect for any and all speed bumps.Hello compromise. 🫤
