BUILD THREAD “The Juggernaut”

Your MIG work looks good. Kinda hard to tell from TIG in the pic.

Hey, thanks man!
That's quite a compliment as far as I'm concerned! I've always thought of my welds (while strong) as "less than pretty ".
Lol
That's why I usually end up blending them out to look better.
Appreciate the comment Opie.
🙂

Awesome work as always Donovan. Thanks for another update. I always enjoy them.

Thanks Jared. I know it's not exactly riveting material, but what the hell right? Progress is progress, however small.

Looks great Donovan! Lad to see some updates!

Thanks Jim!
Looking forward to some long overdue updates from ya on your build...
😉

Great work Donovan!

Thanks very much Kevin!

Ahh crap....
Looks like this lower control arm isn't going to be as easy to get out as the other side...

hey ya snot nosed, smelly bum picker.... spring is upon us 🙂

Ahh, I see Lazarus has returned from the dead...
Nice of you to finally grace us with your presence!

Ladies and gentlemen, that was my "friend" Finkous aka Dana.
Lol
Dana has been a bit of a G body snob lately, refusing to keep us updated on his Malibu wagon. Let's all give him a hard time for that...

Yeah Donovan, he definitely needs to show some pics and details on that wagon! From his avatar pic, it looks super nice!

These 11 hour days and nightmare jobs at work are kicking the sh*t outta any garage related motivations lately. Just burnt out, and nothing left by the end of the day...

But with that said, I'm still slowly picking away and making progress here and there. Should hopefully have an update for you all here shortly.

Thanks for checking back,

Donovan

Ps- here's a teaser for the time being...

Hey man, I'm sure everyone of us here know that feeling. I know I sure do. It's gotten better since I don't mess with cars at work all day anymore but I still come home too tired to feel like messing with it sometimes.

Yep, I'm sure many, if not all can relate at some point.
Getting older ain't helping any either, even 10 years ago, I would've thought nothing of coming home after a 10 hour shift, wolfing down a bite to eat, and going hard on the car till 2am then getting up in 3 or 4 hours and doing it all over again the next day.

Not anymore these days I'm afraid. Too hard on the 'ol body, it just can't take the same abuse anymore.
🙁
