Got to install them today. I think they look great on the hood.

Sweet! I had the exact same ones on my 1st cowl hood. They'll look great, as long as the Ch*vy reference doesn't bother an Olds guy!

May or may not add an Oldsmobile rocket logo. Too keep it "inner circle". That is if I can find a small enough one to fit.

I agree. What's the size of the lettering? Wasn't there a small scale emblem used on some of the olds? Can't remember where it was located....

They are a repro. of a 70-72 Chevelle I don't really know the scale of it. If I'm going to "make" an emblem it would be very time consuming. I may be up for it though. Best way I'm thinking of making one is by a mold. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve😉.

Today I ran across a neat "new" car and it was certainly fast. While I am a defensive driver and I dont mind a little pull once in a while. I remeber driving the Olds, and man its a sad thing to admit but i couldnt even pass a Corolla! I would love to whoop that 370z I saw today...
Any one would like to sponsor my Olds turbo 350 build?

Well cant say I've progressed much this month of March, cant really do much either. I do plan on installing a true dual exhaust. Starting off with headers then down to a crossflow muffler from MAGNAFLOW, 2.5in pipes and a 45° exit behind the rear wheels. I sort of dont really have a choice either. My exhaust is leaking and sounds real ugly. I already have the muffler all i need is the headers. This will most likely be done sometime this spring. Three more weeks and she's road worthy...hopefully. 🙂

Hey that hood looks familiar! Those are the same emblems I used. I got them through Summit.
