Test fitted the wheels on the rear, it couldn't fit any more perfect. The 5.25in backspacing will give me enough quarter panel clearance and the frame is out of the way. Now I'm not entirely sure about the rear wheel tubs, but there's nothing a grinder and a a welder can't do.

There 18's what size do you like? they do make them in 20's but I would only do that if I where going air suspension and laying frame. Maybe one day on an elco...
No complaints here brother. Just saying i run 25 series 24s on my cutlass with no lift or cutting. I like the best of all worlds. 359 sbc 10.5/1 comp, .520" lift cam, big stereo, big wheels, loud 3" exhaust, etc. Only missing rear end but 8.5 4.11 coming soon.

Got the other side finished! Once done welding I sprayed the area with primer and then paint. I am very happy with the results.

So this is how the rear shock tower brace came out. And I think it looks great! The forks are made from 1/4in steel plate and the tubing is 1 1/2 in diameter and .120 in wall thickness. I welded 3/8 flanged nuts on top because if you have ever replaced those rear shocks you know how horrible it is to get those rusty top bolts to thread in. Im really happy with the results.

What do you guys think...?
I have this frame off and I can use it as a jig to make these rear braces, would this be something anyone would be interested in buying? I can ship for a decent price. $80 or so depending on shipping...

Maybe but nothing a little big hammer can't fix
Or low profile tires.
...If it could be installed while body is on chassis then I'll take one.
I'll agree with that. I probably wont need all the bracing available for the G-bodies, but if someone is already making them and has time to spare, I'll buy one. Even if I don't get to install it until next winter. Send me a message, I'll let you know where to ship it.

Keep up the good work. This is one of the builds I've got on my watch list.
