I don’t know how it’s going to hold up over the long term, but that new 6.7 sure pulls like a freight train!
Ford was sick of International giving them junk V8's, so they engineered that straight 6, 6.7 in house from the ground up. I have only heard some rod bolt issues with an otherwise good platform. To you 6L owners, you are on borrowed time, 4 head bolts per cylinder is a terrible design. You guys realize the cab needs to come off to change head gaskets? Another brilliant design move.

I believe the Ford 6.7 is still a V-8. It’s a little confusing because the Ram 6.7 is an I-6. The Ford 6.7 Power Stroke is really impressive for its combination of power and refinement. Honestly it’s so quiet, it’s hard to tell it’s a diesel.

My Dad is the Ford influence in me.. Mostly early Fords, hes 77, he was into Model A's for a while. He had 4-5 of them, Theyre gone, Now he has a '35 Ford Coupe, a '47 Ford Convertible, and hes in the middle of a frame off resto of a '52 Pickup, and i have a 51 Merc Flattie on a engine stand im rebuilding for him,..Cant say ive had any real Hi-Performance Fords, but ive owned a 65 mustang, and a 67 Cougar, and a 77 Lincoln in the past, that were worthwhile, and some unworthy ones, Like in the early to mid 90's i drove Ford Escorts, and even had a few Escort wagons, and one Aspire! Yuk watta POS!

Nowadays, For Ferds, I have my Truck, is my Workhorse, its a '99 F350 4x4 CC 7.3L i bought new, now has a tick over a 100K
