The best thing you can do for a T-top car is installing the X-brace kit behind the rear seat.
This will eliminate almost all of the squeeks and rattles associated with T-top cars.
I haven't tried the rear seat braces, they seem too far back on the chassis to affect the T-tops, but I won't discredit it since I haven't tried it. I tried most other factory type braces as mentioned and kept getting a torque cracked windshield, so while it is a surmountable issue, it is still something to think about.
