Well i want to stand out a bit.

The RS didnt come with a V8. So if you find one, someone put it in, and in that price range, the wiring usually isnt the greatest. Weaker suspension and bracing to go along with it as well.

exaggeration on the sports especially when talking about the 80's and early 90's ones. the

I disagree. The Gbody feels like driving a shoebox, compared to the Fbody.

They were cheap, and very "flex-prone", but they like corners.

they may handle alright, but that certainly comes at the expense of confort, which it shouldnt. on top of saying all this the interiors are of horrid quality and styling in my opinion

Its not the RS its the sport coupe, and they did come with a 305 v8. They either came with the 2.8lv6 or the 305

I've always liked f bodies, but as previously stated by others, compared to g bodies, they are flex- machines.

Like ALL unibody cars no mater who makes them, will always flex and need strengthening if you want to play.

As for 3rd gens make sure you look very close for rust and or cracks around strut towers, check rear LCA boxes and the underside of rocker panels. These places are prone to issues.

They can be a fun toy.

I Agree with some of the past post: If you want to corner fast > 3 Rd Gen has it but you loose it in over all comfort.
Zippy car = lacking comfort. My 700R-4 has a slight slip when cold 1St. into 2Nd. So I take'er easy on her as she is my Daily Driver

I did want a Camaro but couldn't find one clean enough at the time.....

I've never owned one but have driven and worked on many. Sure, the TPI cars (Irocs, Z28s) get all the hype but they also cost more to fix. If I were to buy one I'd get a TBI, 5-speed, hardtop. The TBI 305s are dead reliable and make great cruisers. %-speeds make them sporty and fun to drive. Hardtops have less leaks and squeaks. The great news about the 3rd gens is that they've pretty much bottomed out, value wise. I think they'll start to appreciate soon. Find a nice stock one and keep it that way. Enjoy it for a few years and sell for a profit.

I think you should hold on to your money and buy what you really want.
Cause you know dam well as soon as you spend it, the monte of your dreams will come up for sale.

Btw...the car in my sig i paid $1800 for (with out ls) and drove it on the trailer.

Ill wait a bit because i dont think its worth 2500$. Ill keep you guys posted! 🙂
