This might have been a bad idea, BUT

Finally met up with the guy this morning. I ended up getting the car for almost free. I have to body work his hood on a 63 1/2 Galaxy. He had it blasted and they warped the crap out of it. Going to do some metal surgery and get it in primer for him for the Century. He is bringing the hood tonight. Going to work on it tomorrow and Saturday. While he was looking at my Salon, he said he had some wheels I may be interested in. He goes into his shop and comes out with a Hurst 14" wheel from a 79 HO. He said he'd take $100 for the set and I could not get my wallet out fast enough. I ended up with a set of 84 T Type aluminum wheels, set of HO wheels, and a nice set of 14" chrome Buick Regal rallys all for $260. I think the T Type wheels are maybe one year only. I'll have pics tonight when he brings the hood and wheels. Here's a video I took of the Century which has sat in this spot since late 1990s.

AWESOME UPDATE,,,,,,,, I posted a want ad for Buick Century aero (fastback) tail lights this morning and a member had tail light assemblies. I'm walking on clouds today because these are a little hard to find

I went through ALL my G body hoard last night and early this morning. I found stuff I forgot I had. I found the turbo 3.8 litre hood ornament I removed from an 87 Turbo T back in the 90s. It sit's at the same angle and went right in the existing holes in the 81 Century header panel. Really cool. I would shave it but the holes always seem to show back up over time. The chrome is in awesome condition for it's age. I'll polish the plastic inlays and repaint the inlayed letters black

A little?! You might as well be looking for unicorn manure! On the other hand, I give you mad props for this build; I think it's cool AF.
BTW, I never knew this animal existed. I've been learning a ton being a member here. The General had some zany options for these cars!

I've decided that when the car gets here in a week or two, I will strip off the front sheetmetal, seats, carpet, and door panels. The car needs a major cleaning with a garden hose to get rid of the debris packed in everywhere. I'll check the sides of the engine block for cracks. If the block seems fine, I'll pull the engine and tear it down to check it over. I'm afraid I'm about to get an education in hot air Buicks 😵 He delivered the wheels and his Galaxy hood and told me he forgot he had a 78 or 79 Regal out there too. I didn't see it but sounds like a parts car. At least a spare set of doors if they're the same on interchange
