Winter is bad, but from my memories of years past, mud season was even more depressing.
The weather was nice enough and warm enough to drive the nice cars, but.... mud. EVERYWHERE. unless you wanted it to get trashed and rot out, you had another 4 or 6 weeks till things dried out enough you would drive the car.
These days, I deal with neither of those things.
