Too Cold Outside

In Philly they ban putting a trash to save your dug out spot, not sure if NYC does too but would not surprise me if they did.

On the local Philly news, the city itself will hit 0 on Sunday morning, the coldest temps in 24 years. Guess where I am will likely hit below 0.

The laws are probably more stringent these days...I would think. But people were territorial and fought over their parking spaces. I'm sure they're just as crazy in Philly.
Yeah, it's warfare out there.

Geesh, I wore a long sleeve shirt today for the 1st time. I usually bust them out when the high is 10 or lower. I don't break out the winter boots or long johns until it gets to zero and I have to be outside for more than an hour or so.

Cold (and being cold) is a state of mind IMHO. Working in 80+ degree heat and having to smell the stinky sob next me is much worse. I guess that's why I don't mind winter. I will admit that I dislike winter in April and May - as long as winter is done by March, then all is well.

You are right, I looked the temperature this morning and I knew I would freeze walking to the court house this morning and I did...😵

Loving every minute.....the chilly -25 windchill degree C (probably well below 0*F, view is beautiful. You can dress for winter but what to wear for summer sweltering heat.(please no pics...just wondering aloud.)

In the above pic, looking towards Toronto, you can see the moisture and clouds forming, being picked up by the icy winds blowing across Lake Ontario towards New York State, east of the Niagara Falls area.

You can dress for winter, but I've never heard of losing a fingertip to "the heat and humidity".

We've varied between -22 and -31C for the past 2 weeks not counting windchill. went through a litthe over a cord of wood last week heating the house. I've been discovering the drafts and adding them to my 'things to fix next summer' list.

If it helps it is 39 in SW Georgia right now. Warming trend tomorrow then rain. Did see sun today.
