So, I just got this sexy *ss piece and I can't wait to put it on the car... It looks pretty tough, doesn't weigh a thing, shipped extremely quick, and its pretty cheap.
The only thing is that it's come bare metal but it's still a nice piece

So I put the crossmember in and it fit perfect , transmission dropped right in. Best of all it only waighed in at about 5 lb.

thanks for the replies guys, gutlass, thanks for the info on the x member,i'll be ordering one of those soon,i just recently installed my new 355 olds and th350 transmission and it'll need something good to hold in in place, especially if it fits great

just got my x member from gbodyparts.com sent in today, painted black for a th350.I tryed to bolt it up and it will not fit right at all?any ideas

do they have a part number on the crossmember so you can check to see if they sent you the right one?

I checked that out first, nothing stamped on it,looked at the receipt and it says thm350.WTF?the pad on the x member isnt even close to lining up with my tailshaft mount.
