Tires will be here next week, decided on some cheap W rated street tires in 255/60R15 for the rear. I'd rather spin and peddle out of the hole than explode the 10 bolt on the first pass lol.

I got my dirty paws on a set (including spare) of GM 15 inch Rally wheels for this pig, I was told they were from a 69 Camaro, I have no way of verifying.

I know for a fact my one friend is going to roll down to the strip with me in June, a few others have said they will also. Hoping to get a little shitbox caravan rolling down the highway.

almost bought a battery tray. but that wouldn't be very budget friendly.

currently clocking in at $5.9k

So keeping with the cheap asf DIY build, I threw one together out of some scrap I had laying around.

Got the battery area cleaned up and painted.

Finally drove it around the block after doing all the suspension work. Vast improvement.

Got on it a little on the way back. I cannot wait to get wider tires on this and start dialing in the tune

Well done, I like the battery tray. Looks similar to how they did the one on mine, but I like your tie downs much more. When they built it they just used threads all for it, I cheated on the Blazer and bought a premade one but figured for $40 I would have had a lot more time and effort in it than it was worth to me
