V4 engine?

Perhaps someone swapped in this 1966 Evinrude V-4 and passed it off as a car motor?

there is a guy here in wichita that makes v-4s. He cuts a v-8 in half and makes the front plate for the timing chain cover and so on also uses one head that is cut in half. http://www.chet-wilson.com he has been doing them since the 70's for circle track racing, He also has a blown version in his t-bucket

Actually it was half a 389.
