Are you referring to this fuse? When i pull the fuse i get power on the right side with test light with key on. Fuse is good
Yeah, just wanted to make sure.

If there isn’t any wires loose on the back of that cluster connector, you’ll need to start hunting for a broken wire.

Okay. Is there any way I can bypass idiot light/jump alternator L wire in the meantime? -- so my alternator willl charge the battery

Check both sides of the fuse is there power on both sides?
If you mean this fuse slot then no there is power on right side only. This is with fuse pulled

And with fuse inserted yes there is power on both sides

You would need to run a wire to keyed power, then into the field wire at the connector, but you’ll need to add a resistor in.

There’s several adapter harnesses for older alternators, you can have a parts store order them. Do you know what style of alternator you have?

I mean with the fuse in.

Now is there power at the pink with black stripe wire on the gauge cluster connector, the one next to the empty slot?

Edited to add:
Really either pink w/black wire they both come from the same fuse. and are spliced in the harness.

With key on, yes.

However #18 Grey Cluster Lights i cannot get power from. This is with headlight switch pulled out as well

Gray wire is a different fuse.

Should be marked "Lp Lmps"
My fuse block is hard to read ... is it the 25 amp that says LPS ??

I think that is the right one for the dash illumination.

Lets stick to one circuit at a time.

For the alternator.
On the dash connector jump the pink w/black to the tan, do not confuse with the tan with white stripe there are 2 of them or the brown.

See if it charges, this is ok for a minute but will damage the alternator with out the resistor or light bulb acting as a resistor in the long run.
