Volt gauge question

I think that is the right one for the dash illumination.

Lets stick to one circuit at a time.

For the alternator.
On the dash connector jump the pink w/black to the tan, do not confuse with the tan with white stripe there are 2 of them or the brown.

Elcam, top left "inst lmps" is dead, i am getting nothing here. The fuse is good, there is a 5a in there now


I am happy to try jumping. Can you give me #s? See pic.

Start it and rev it up a few times and see if the volt gauge reads 14ish volts.

Gotcha. Ok i jumped the two together. I cant start it right now. But i am getting power at my L wire on alternator which i wasnt before

Then the problem is the printed circuit, bulb socket or bulb. That pink and black also powers the oil and brake warning lights.

#9 gray ive got nothing. Key on headlights on

That power comes from the headlight switch dark green wire to the fuse to that gray wire.

Test the fuse with it in with the headlight switch on it should have 12V on both sides, switch off nothing. The nothing will help make sure it is the correct fuse too. no other fuse is powered through the headlight switch.

Guess we should start with, do the headlights work?
