A hefty slug of Buckley's Cough Syrup with a mug of Neo-Citran Apple Cinnamon, piping hot., for a chaser.
The Buckley's is just as evil as the commercials say. The trick is to slug it down so it hits the back of the throat and heads south before the taste buds have a chance to grok to the fact they have just been assaulted. That way most of the stuff gets swallowed before the strangling sensation kicks in. Still tastes nasty, but yeah, it does work; at least for me.

I'm usually a beer guy but last night we were drinking Moscow mules with cucumber vodka. The cucumber really makes it pop!!

Today I taught my grandson how to change out the headlight bulbs on his 2008 Cobalt. I even made him look up the procedure in his FSM. I think that deserves a cold beer tonight with dinner. I may have a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout or two hiding in the vegetable crisper. Tastes as good as it sounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm tempted. Although the heating bill probably equals the purchase price... told the other half we could live in a different bedroom each month of the year.
I'm earnestly looking for somewhere different without so much social tension dominating everything in life, ive found in our travels round the country it's worse depending on demographic splits.
