If I were in your shoes I would study that photo posted above from Onehit, reach out to him and see if he has a build thread. He indicated he's still running the CCC and his engine compartment looks outstanding.

I don't have any kind of write up on it, but basically I started with the smog pump and like dominoes everything else followed. I also removed the air cleaner and all the vac lines and junk connected to that. I still run the egr though. I did extend and reroute some wiring like the oil temp. sender which was running across the intake. That alone will clear a lot out. Plus I love tie wraps.. I put them sh*ts on everything
