Bearings for the 12 bolt rear showed up
today
Tune up parts for the 88MC followed

Is your 12 bolt a modified housing or did you buy it?

Hopefully 🤞 fixed a hair line crack inside the HVAC box. I’m going to buy new carpet but found old to be wet when it rains.... and there we go

I went to pick up some aircraft stripper from O'Reilly's this morning. I was shocked to find this.

It wouldn't ring up and the lady behind the desk didn't know why. I told her Id tell her as soon as she sold it to me. Curiosity must've gotten to her. She agreed and I got the contraband. This has to be one of the last bottles in America.

Maybe in 2021 we'll finally get that 2020 thread.

Went to upull yard yesterday looking for an lt1/l99 caprice that just showed up. Came up with nothing from it. But, across the isle was a fresh 92 camaro rs. Hmm, this was just dropped on friday. As i approach i could see it is a v8 tbi AND A MANUAL!. oh my gd, did i just find a WC t5!? YES! and NO!!. Trans was gone. I missed it by half a day. Oh well. So look over the rest of the car, by now, most of these cars are so modified your not sure what you'll find. I see the front sway looks a little thick. So i get down underneath and see the spit holes in it, wow its a 34mm bar. Just in front of that is a ps cooler line. I stand up and at the car again. It has 16 iroc wheels. Wow, this is an rs with the iroc package.
So i went to town on it. Iroc steering gear box, ps cooler line, 34mm front bar, 21mm rear bar, clutch master reservoir bracket, t5 inspection plate left by the guys who took the t5 and the factory wheel spacers that came on drum brake rear ends when equipped the 16" wheels.

Also grabbed the rubber fuel lines.

Heads up for yard scroungers. 97-00 or so f150's had a recall that installed a fuse on the brake switch that is mounted on the master cylinder.

Tell me more about this PS cooler. Does it mount below the radiator on the core support or elsewhere? Pretty much plug and play huh?

Wish i could. I know they came on, at least, camaros with 16" wheels. They are plug and play on camaros. Most up here are rusted to the point where they aren't worth rescuing. But, yes they are bolted to and run under the radiator core support in a giant loop. They are used on the return side. One end has an o-ring style ps line fitting and connect to the steering gthe other has a bulge for return line to slip on and held with a crimp band or worm drive clamp. I have not had a chance to try mounting it on the car. Maybe later today. I don't know how much of a temperature change it has. But gm thought it was needed.
