I have a 1990 C1500 that I recently got back and started working on again and have found the positive terminal on the firewall is very convenient. I picked one up to mess around for the Monte. I’d probably mount it next to the battery itself. I think it’ll be useful to keep all of my positive leads off the side post of the battery itself. Anyone else do this? Suggestions? Reasons not to?

It's a great idea. Did it when I moved the battery to the spare tire well....

Got some billet tie rod adjusters, a new center link, some H4 glass headlights( only 2 for now), and the big score was a set of Nitto 555 tires that all have 7/32. The tires where $200 installed! 245/45R17. This will be a big improvement from the off brand Duraturns I had. Ohh I also got a brand new welder for my birthday! Forney Easy weld 140. Haven't tried it yet but will this week.

Ordered some new front seats earlier. The current ones have served me well for years, still feel new, but don't fit the interior theme as intended. I had always planned on new seats, just wasn't sure when. I had the opportunity today so I jumped on it.
I'll hold off on pics until I have them, but my current ones will be for sale and I'll need to part with them quick after the new ones come.

Bought me some CeraKote, or, more specifically, paid for it and the equipment and skills necessary to apply it to my parts.

These are $100 swap meet headers I picked up for Olds Cool a couple years back, and today I picked them up from the powder coaters.
Glacier Grey, after Jay at Powder Works cleaned them up and blasted them for me:

Should be pretty understated and look right at home under the hood of Olds Cool me thinks.
The second last mod on it coming up soon!

Fed Ex delivered pair of Corsa mufflers for exhaust on the monte getting the ls3/6l80 swap delivered them to the shop. Wiring, drive shaft, and exhaust remaining to be finished
