What did you do at work today?

I actually did some work, 5 early resolutions for traffic court by way of conference call. First time I "appeared" in court dressed in shorts and a t shirt...

Got up at 0600hrs and started reading about critical thinking and academic writing, then at 0830hrs I had 3 hours of French, then at 1145hrs (after a massive poop) I worked out, at 1300hrs I made myself and the kids lunch, at 1330hrs I had a shower, and now I am talking to you jack-wagons while I skim a COVID outbreak scenario for my paid job before I crack on with more staff work, readings for college, do my French homework, and attend a Zoom meeting at 1930hrs - and to think today is just Monday.

Growing up in Montreal we had to take french at school but the dumb thing was the french we were forced to take was Parisian french which is spoken in France. It's acutally a nice language unlike the french spoken in Quebec. When I worked at Canadair (now Bombardier) we had a contract with Areo Special , a company in France who made the Air Bus, were we worked on the ailerons and other control surfaces. I had to translate the blue prints to the french speaking guys cause they has no understanding of Parisien french which is somewhat similar to English.

My instructor is from France... her sense of sarcasm is worse than les Quebecois. Stop taking me so literally!

Je suis ton ami.

on of the clubs I worked outside of Montreal would put "SPPVC" on the bottom of invitations sent out for special events......when I asked what the SPPVC meant I had a good laugh. You'll know what it means but sorry to the English guys, I would get booted if I translated it for you.... Si Pas Possible Va Chier......

Un spectale du merde!

Our recent political corruption scandal taught me that one.
