What did you do at work today?

Over pressure on the circuit or poor quality part or ???

Nick
Over pressure I believe, I think it had the settings for a processor still in the tool selector. But of course the operator says now it is too slow and was never like that before.... so have to send the mechanic out again tomorrow to raise the pressure some from what it dropped it down to

Got the chance to break the Essick roller. The vibrator engagement clutch locked up & wouldn't quit with out prying it to disengage. Now back to the wrench turners just to cobble it to work so it'll fail again. On the positive, it gave me a work out moving it around under my power cause it won't start while the clutch is engaged.

I made the decision to lean into the wind here, for better or worse.

Created a non-paying job for myself. Laid the groundwork to establish a 501c4 non-profit for the local area to deal with the uncontrolled development pressures in the area, under which I would wind up registered agent and chairman of the board.

There's been days I haven't felt that great, so, in light of the conundrum we all face someday - will I have a lot of time left? Am I gonna beat this thing? Well, I decided I may as well try to make the biggest impact I can, while I can. And if there's an other side to all this and I pull through, we'll, I'll have done something good.

So, we'll see. If I can get enough dedicated members of a board to fill the functions we need, I will be extremely busy indeed.

Had our monthly safety brief like normal. My shop supervisor who is about 10 years older than me, prior military guy with time in the sand like me as well, made an announcement to everyone that he was 100% diagnosed with ALS.

I've been working with him on the military disability claim process since the PACT ACT stuff came down, he has had some conditions and wanted them evaluated. Definitely not what was expected but the condition is getting progressively worse. We are doing what we can to make the guy laugh every day and enjoy things. If it was me I would be living up every day while I could.

One of them things that is an eye opener more than normal. Another friend of mine who is a little older has thyroid cancer and a few other major conditions.

This is what we get for going to Iraq, can't wait to see what the next decade holds for me..probably why I don't give a sh*t about much now.

I didn’t do the assembly, but it is an update on a car I painted. The 36 is coming together nicely. I just wish the old man assembling the car had a better camera.

Seen this round town the past couple weeks. Was one for the spotted thread. Instead it was sitting outside work this morning with my name on it. 87 with a swapped 6.0 Ls with od. Our customer just drove it back from cali. I worked on the front suspension, ball joints, upper control arms and alignment. Few other small things. Clean swap and clean under side.

Started early to run 20 bales of hay and 50lb's of seed to a job we just finished in Wilkingsburg that is like a city block there, get a call from the driver that he broke an elbow on the tarper and needs a replacement while he is getting loaded out at a job in Oakland. Had to straighten the bar since it apparently took a hell of a hit as well, one time being a fat *ss works out in my favor
