What did you do at work today?

I’ve been done with my part for a while, except for a final polish once the interior is in. But I got the final assembly pics of the 36 today. Definitely came a long way. Pretty damn proud with the results, even though there’s plenty of things I can find wrong with it. Maybe some day I can make one of my cars look like this.

From Saturday. Brought this 65 vette down to the shop. Primed it with Glasurit UV primer so I was able to cure it in 3 minutes a panel with my light. Then threw it outside while I worked on the color. Color beat me up. 9 mixes later I was happy. Finished buffing it tonight and put it together. Tomorrow night I’ll finish cleaning it up and I’ll get it out.
I had it because someone painted the side to the body line with what looked like duplicolor spray can.

Good luck, quite the life changes and making sure you are priority

Literally watched paint dry. We had to repaint stop bars at a RR Xing that had to get some humps milled down. Instead of using the portable spraying the line painting crew has, we rolled it on. Chilly air & road temps don't help.
