What did you do at work today?

Back down to the job to fix the broken machine again

work? took the day off to move the daughter back to college. filled up the back of the truck with all the big items last night, went to bed late, got up 1 hour earlier than usual, drove 120 miles there, unloaded her car and my truck in the heat, and drove back. 😰🥵

I some how envision Princess Vespa and her giant hair dryer...

not quite, but the days of kids going to college with a suitcase and a large duffel bag are over. Moving her into the apartment complex, I saw them moving in their own dressers even though these are furnished apartments with closets! some people even rent Uhaul trucks because stuff won't fit in 2 cars. and there is not nearly enough dorms so the majority of kids (80%) live in apartments. and the apartments all like to present themselves as upscale with amenities so they can suck in that student federal aid housing money or have mommy & daddy pay for it.

it gets even more insane. we checked into storing her stuff there over summer. they wanted like $200-300/month for a small 5x5 storage unit!

Need to tell the operator to stop having more fun than the machine can handle!
Worst part is not so sure its the operator, the ******* neighbors that are bashing the city on the news have been tossing bricks off their building onto our machines
