What did you do at work today?

Still proving the world wrong by polishing more turds to a good luster. Almost was "rewarded" with a 5 hour time line to mask & paint the exterior of the Volvo grader that had no prep work other than some needling. Some how after I told them it was a 2 day job they made the crew to whom it's assigned to brush & roll it. Hope tomorrow is the last day of turd polishing.

Almost 4hrs
Only 2 broken v-bands and one broken bolt 😅

Started my winter shift (12 PM to 8 PM) today & found out my cross shift for the AM had to go help out in Erie, Pa to help that district with snow removal with our new truck but had to leave it for guys from counties in our district to use it. It might be back to us Wednesday with them bringing it back to claim their crew cab that our guys used to get back.

Looks like it’s going to be long “days “ and short nights for you guys 😓

Not for me for now. I didn't sign up for the state wide list to go where help is needed. I just wanted to stay in my work county. Worse I could do is help out in the county I live in as both counties are in the same district. Now those guys in the counties closer to Lake Erie is going to ruin the state budget for overtime.

And it’s probably only started.

Dual exhaust on an old Scamp. Never swore as much on any exhaust system as this one. GD rear steer… lol Not my kind of car but a really nice father/son restoration.
That Plymouth is beautiful. Looking at the trouble you went through to route the passenger side exhaust, I wonder what would have been the best solution (single pipe?). I am considering a single 3.5" or 4" pipe routed in the factory manner on my SBO '78 Cutlass since the TBI kit I want to use has a single O2 sensor. If an x-pipe helps with scavenging, then a single pipe has to take that concept to the max. My Hooker g-body LS swap exhaust (x-pipe and a bunch of clamps) has been a big disappointment... next car is getting a 1-off at an exhaust shop.
