What did you do to/with your chainsaw today

The Poulan worth the time and labor to tear down and rehab or is it consigned to the yard sale as a parts dump?

Nick

It's not a powerhouse but it should cut anything your Poulan did. The original bar is cool.

Yeah, I don't need a giant husk or Stihl to trim my firewood chunks or trim branches.

The old poo-lan went into the scrap pile. By chainsaw buddy took the head off and discovered a scored cylinder so there was no value in saving that.

Those older Poulan saws almost always are not worth fixing. The only Poulans ones that might be an exception are the Poulan Bad Boy and some of the older countervibe series. Some of the yellow Poulan Pros were actually Partner/Pioneers and were good saws. Other than that... its not worth the time or money.

Found this dead b*st*rd left to sit in the upper grave yard at work. It's either really dead or they don't want to invest any more tax revenue into it. It's still state property so it'll sit where it is until they pay the junkman to haul it away.

Been a bit for this thread..

I got some yard work in earlier today. Had a tree branch snapped off up in this tree, got it with a pole saw and cut it up with my 261 once it was on the ground.

Sorry, have 8 cords for winter. But understand the short term winters. Watch out for the snowbird flocks.

If I could figure out a way to make them into cold weather fuel legally.. 🤔
