What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Moved it so the tree company could get into my yard to trim a neighbors tree, that was hitting the power wires.

replaced the gaskets on my oil pump and plate. Hard to get to when you are 5'5 and can hardly reach them! uhg.

I turned the idle up so it doesnt wanna fall on its face anymore going into gear then I played with the distributor. I dont know what I did but now shifting at only 4000 rpms into 2nd I chirp both tires. Not bad for a stock, never rebuilt 400 small block and a never rebuilt TH400 :lol:

Pretty productive day...
Swapped in a new(to me) steering column along the jeep Cherokee steering shaft,, installed a rear sway bar from a monte Carlo SS... Saw a couple of blazers with the dual brake caliper... Thinking about going back to the boneyard in the morning to grab a set...
Question- the blazers were 4 door,, but the caliper, hub, and spindle looked identical to the ones everyone is swapping in. Did they came in 4 door blazers also?

Drove 1/8 mile to the gas station for some fuel and a Rockstar (breakfast), across the parking lot for a donut (lunch) and the 1/8 mile back home. Total compliments/thumbs-up = 4. That's 16 per mile. Not a bad ratio :lol: .

Did an alignment, and left front brake line. Broke down on the way home (in 90-100+ degree heat). Found out the distributor broke a rotor.

Found out it had a radiator leak so I kicked it.

Went out in the garage and looked at it. It's 111 here today, So I just said to hell with it and went back in the AC. 😳

got the parts so my 3rd brake lite finally works and the visors I bought from cbarge1969 arrived so I'll install them later today

Yea they are real p*ssies, They won't even go out and pee unless there is a shady spot.
